The UBC Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences came together on November 21, 2025, to recognize the exceptional contributions of experiential education partners who play a vital role in shaping the next generation of pharmacy professionals.
The Celebrate 2025 event, held from 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm, honoured practice educators, community partners, and industry collaborators who dedicate their time and expertise to teaching, guiding, and inspiring pharmacy students across various practice settings.
Award Recipients
The evening celebrated award recipients across multiple categories, recognizing excellence in different aspects of experiential education:
Practice Educator of the Year Awards were presented to educators who demonstrated outstanding commitment across the Entry-to-Practice PharmD Program rotations:

- Terra Wilson for PHRM 272: Introductory Pharmacy Practice Experience – Inpatient
- Vivian Leung for PHRM 371: Introductory Pharmacy Practice Experience – Outpatient III
- Amritpal Chahil and Elizabeth Yang for PHRM 471: Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experience – Outpatient

Louis-Philippe Bernier received the BPSc Industry Partner of the Year Award for his outstanding contributions to the Bachelor of Pharmaceutical Sciences Program.
In the Canadian Pharmacy Practice Program, Michael Lee and Diala Shreih were honoured for their excellence in Structured Practical Training.
Gary Kwan was recognized with the Outstanding Partner in Experiential Education Award for his exceptional dedication to student learning.
Pawan Hans received the Community Partner of the Year Award for contributions to PHRM 270: Community Service Learning.
